If you’re having trouble letting go of sentiments of great hostility toward someone, this form of meditation can assist.
If you’re interested in trying loving kindness meditation at home, follow these steps:
Step 1: Close your eyes and choose a calm, comfortable position.(2-3 minutes)
Step 2: For a minute, concentrate on your breathing, slowly inhaling and exhaling until you reach a comfortable.
Step 3 : Consider for 2 minutes who you want to express compassion to: yourself, a loved one, or someone who isn’t so liked.
Step 4 : Imagine them clearly in your mind’s eye and maintain the image in your mind’s eye for 3 minutes.
Step 5 : Consider how you feel about this individual.These emotions might range from deep affection to enmity.
You may simply be indifferent to them or have no sentiments for them at all.
Step 6 : Consider the difficulties for 2 minutes they may be facing in their daily lives.
