Today we work on another step. Follow these steps because it is very helpful. I also use these steps.
It’s a great opportunity to practise mindfulness in the early moments of waking up and then taking a shower:
Step 1: Turning tap,standing under the spray, and putting on soap are all actions to pay attention to.
Step 2: Sense the warm water, attempting to feel each stream separately.
Step 3: For a few seconds, change to cooler water, then return to warm.
Step 4 : Focus on the here and now. Bring your thoughts back to the present moment if they have wandered.
Step 5 : Start with 3 to 4 minutes and gradually increase the time to include the complete shower and drying off!
