Activate Your Mind and Muscles with a Mindful Workout
Step 1: Make sure you know what you want to achieve.
Step 2: Warm up your body.(5 min)
Any simple moves can be tried. Jump jacks and focus on synchronising your breath to your activity.
Step 3: Get into a routine. (10-15 min)
Intensify your breathing and movement while maintaining coordination. If this is difficult for you, simply concentrate on your breathing for a few minutes. You’ll get into a rhythm eventually.
Step 4 : Set a goal for yourself.(10- 15 minute’s)
Depending on what you’re doing, try a faster pace, more repetitions.When you push yourself, notice how awake and lively you feel.
Step 5 : Cool down (5 minutes).
Slow down until you’ve to a complete stop. Take note of how you’re feeling in your body. Take in whatever you can.
Step 6 : Rest (5 minutes).
Recognize the symphony of feelings that surround and flow through you quietly. Make a habit of labelling your emotions and sensations.
